Lyrics:
"Feeble and hungry, we crawl from the mud;
The first to wield the fire, but now all for not.
Cells multiplying, structure still weak.
We had such promise, but it was too much to keep.
Giants, they feed upon the weak.
Now flashing forward several thousand years:
Material possessions, meticulously purchased.
Constantly weakened by their self-inflicted lack of purpose.
Giants, they feed upon the weak;
Metabolize, and then they sleep.
The ritual is now complete.
Innocence is gone.
Her bidding will be done.
Peeling flesh from bone.
Human beings are born and designed to die.
Actions are null, inevitable our fate:
Our fate to return to dirt.
All your surplus will soon to dust.
Sinking deep into chaos,
As thick as the oil in our veins,
The voice of giving Earth now drained.
Flightless vultures, consuming the dead remains.
We build the pyre high, to watch it all burn down.
We build the pyre to watch it burn.
The lie of humankind,
Will soon come to an end.
And from the great divide,
We will return again,
The lie of humankind.
We will return again.
(The lie of humankind)
We can’t go on like this.
(Will soon come to an end)
Something’s gotta give.
(And from the great divide)
We can’t go on like this, we can’t.
No.
Artificial compensation,
Repetition, never ending.
We rest in pieces, forever empty.
Only the fat survive;
How heavily their pockets lined.
Unstoppable rebirth.
This hole we’ve been digging all our lives,
Was meant for us this entire time.
The Earth God Mother will swallow us whole,
The lie of humankind will be answered for"

First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
