Systems thicker than concrete,
Sick with delusion.

Of permanence and regeneration,
Satiate us and fuck the rest.

We ache to be sick,

Scarcity engineered to force reliance on
A system that starves us.

Psychotic society,
Metastasized and terminal,
Like inhaling the fumes of our burning skin.

Almost invincible we stood ablaze against the black,
Darkness dispelled where our eyes gaze.

The stars just an arms length away.
But will this fix me? We scream,
“I want to be better, I want to be dead”.

Give me the exit we seek,
So sick of the chains of this sadist society.
