Lyrics:
"Endless desire,
Expectation artificial,
We're scraped to the bottom now.
We gaze upon the heavens,
From barren wishing wells.
A burial ground for human souls,
I choose to buy and sell,
And make tender of it.
Let go before finding pleasure,
Pleasure in what you've found:
The danger in well-crafted words.
Dulcet tones give life to belief,
Now spiraling downwards.
Deepest fears now come to life,
Subtle glance from my deathbed.
From a promise now to the tomb,
A vow not taken lightly.
Never resurrected.
The noise has become intolerable,
Hope, heartache sorrow.
The ringing echos trough generations,
And blends into static.
And at the end of the day,
Love speaks of us together.
Empires once formed, now erased.
If the answer is not togetherness,
Then what compels us to do so?
Invent the path we travel on.
We didn't ask to be here in the first place.
Our fears, they make their beds,
In graves we dug closely in trenches.
Welcome one and all to our final resting place.
Together we lay here in fear of the dark.
This can't go on forever.
Oh rip this life from me.
Avoidance is cowardice.
Escapism is alive in the youth of the present day.
We walk along the tightrope,
Dangle above the belly of the beast.
Lean towards complacency,
Or keep our fucking mouths shut.
Every letter narcissistic,
Every word another ploy,
Towards the lost.
Free the prisoner within.
Every act in self-assurance, at the core of every action.
Who do we think we are?"

First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
