Lyrics:
"All is lost.
Lost in a sea of our own contempt,
Black water leaving us breathless.
I long to secede from society.
True nature comes to the surface.
Malicious intent built from within.
Vicious circle without a reason,
I'm a slave to this heart inside.
I would sell my soul to find a reason,
I find myself in this life.
It plagues me so.
Removing myself from the equation.
Life in isolation is not without sacrifice.
Purge all emotion.
Cease to be another place holder for pain.
Black out.
The silence still bears my name.
Loved ones lost beckon me to the door.
Oh welcome back to the beginning,
A place that you swore never to return.
The dirt I left behind,
I was no longer to be The Forsaken One.
Off-white frames lead to crumbling foundation,
Refurbished beyond recognition.
The light and the dark are now in the open,
I'm afraid to open my eyes.
So in the name of love we suffer,
To time's illusion succumb.
Fear not for those who leave us,
Bound to memory live on,
Til our final day in the sun"

First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch. Two death metal legends unite for a once-in-a-lifetime LP; rife with classic appeal and flavor, it's a manifesto that works in any era. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 11, 2017
